There were two main chapters of the Cubism Movements.Īnalytic Cubism (Pre 1912): This used a softer, limited array of colours like blacks and greys and used harsh lines and the interweaving of fragment images. They created pieces where the foreground and background would merge, and they would create sharp-edged geometrical shapes.
